Hiking, climbing and thrills

The Gerlossteinbahn is right opposite the Dörflwirt. This means you can reach the Gerlosstein plateau directly from the hotel in comfort and with a fantastic view. From here, there are numerous hiking trails, such as the popular panorama trail. The Gerlossteinwand via ferrata is a real kick for adrenaline junkies, but only for experienced climbers.

There's also a real thrill for families here: the Gerlosstein Almflieger, where you hurtle down into the valley at a lofty height of 738 meters. If you are setting off by car or motorcycle, we recommend the Zillertaler Höhenstraße. With the fascinating panorama of the Zillertal always in sight, you can climb up to over 2,000 meters above sea level.

400 kilometers of hiking trails, 9 themed trails, trails for runners and walkers, 40 alpine huts and inns. The Zillertal Arena brings variety to your summer vacation - for all ages and abilities.

If you prefer to explore the Zillertal by bike, you've come to the right place. Thanks to several rental stations for MTBs and e-bikes, you don't need to lug your equipment from home and have a modern bike at your disposal every day.

325 km of bike routes, 17 charging stations, 6 single trails and 3 mountain railroads, with which you can easily transport your bike, are available here in the Zillertal.

And families can get ready for action. Adventure playgrounds, the Gerlos Adventure Land, exciting excursions with the family nest “Family Aktiv Gerlos” and fun for teenagers at “Teenie Action” ensure that even the little ones feel completely at ease.

So you can even go hiking without the kids. As you can see, you should plan enough time to experience the beauty of Gerlos and the entire Zillertal with all your senses.
